A little about me
I am originally from Rolla, Missouri and received a Bachelor of Science in social work from Southeast Missouri State University. I have called Memphis home for almost 2 years now, and I could not image a better community to live, work, and play in than Memphis, Tennessee! There really is something for everyone in this city. From the best food to a historic music scene and tons of parks, Memphis has it all. I am so thankful to be a part of the UofM community that stretches far and wide across the city!
I assist students from:
States
Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas
Things I'd recommend to do in Memphis
Explore Crosstown Concourse, tour Sun Studios, attend free outdoor concerts at the Levitt Shell, walk around Shelby Farms Park, cheer on the Memphis Grizzlies at FedExForum, eat delicious food at TacosNGanas food truck, Wiseacre Brewery, Global Cafe, Casa Blanca, Belltower Coffee House, and so much more!
Opportunities available at the University of Memphis
With an extensive array of degree options and deep campus and community involvement opportunities, there really is so much to discover. As a UofM student, you not only represent a university, but you also represent a city. This comes with great responsibility, but also great joy in knowing UofM students are a part of something so much bigger than themselves!
