B.A Business Education, Concordia University Wisconsin 

A native of Beaverton, Oregon, Nate Oekerman brings a strong background in athletics and academic support to his role as Assistant Director of Athletic Learning and Advising Services. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Education from Concordia University of Wisconsin in 2020.

Prior to joining the University of Memphis staff, Nate was most recently the Assistant Coach for the Men’s Lacrosse at Rhodes College where he oversaw academic performance among other duties for the team. The team won multiple national academic team awards and had two Academic All-Americans during his two years with the team. He also spent time at Adrian College, and Concordia University Wisconsin as an assistant coach with a focus on academic success with each team.

While at Concordia Wisconsin, Nate was a two-time captain and helped lead the program to their first conference championship, and NCAA Tournament Appearance in 2019.
