Welcome to Campus School Kimball!

Opening in Fall 2025, Campus School Kimball will serve students in grades K–5 as the newest addition to the University Schools Innovative District—a tuition-free public school network operated by the University of Memphis.

Located in the heart of the Sherwood Forest neighborhood, Campus School Kimball will be the first new elementary school launched by the University of Memphis since the founding of its original Training School in 1912—the same year the University itself was established. This milestone honors a long-standing tradition of excellence in teacher training, public service, and innovative education.

Campus School Kimball joins a network of schools that has served over 1,200 students from birth through graduation, with a core mission to offer developmentally appropriate, research-driven educational experiences. With a commitment to student-centered learning, collaborative research, and innovative educational practices, Campus School Kimball is poised to inspire the next generation of thinkers, leaders, and changemakers.
