University Schools Student Enrollment

Welcome to University Schools, home to the tuition free, public training & laboratory schools of the University of Memphis including the ELRC (Early Learning & Research Center), Campus School, Campus School Kimball, University Middle School and University High School, as well as our partnerships with Porter-Leath Early Learning Academy in Orange Mound and the Harwood Center.

The mission of University Schools is to provide the children of our community with educational experiences that enhance their development from birth to graduation and promote dynamic research, collaborative partnerships and innovative practices.

 

2026-27 Enrollment 

Applications for student enrollment for the 2026-27 school year is now open and will close on December 12, 2025 at 6pm CT.

ENROLLMENT OPEN HOUSES FOR 2026-27

• October 7 (6pm)  - Campus School Kimball at the Campus School Kimball at 6pm (3749 Kimball Ave)
• October 9 (6pm)  - Campus School at the Michael Rose Theater at 6pm (470 University)
• October 21 (6pm) - Campus School and Campus School Kimball (joint presentation, no tour) at Campus School Kimball (3749 Kimball Ave)
• October 29 (5pm) - ELRC (Virtual, you will receive a virtual link to join the ELRC Virtual Open House at least 24 hours before the event.)
• November 12 (6pm) - University High School at Orgel Educational Center at 6pm (330 Fogelman Drive)
• November 13 (6pm) - University Middle School at Orgel Educational Center at 6pm (330 Fogelman Drive)

ENROLLMENT TIMELINE FOR KINDERGARTEN - 12th GRADE

• August 1, 2025 - November 2, 2025: New Student Interest Period
• November 3, 2025 – December 12, 2025 at 6pm: New Student Application Period
• January 20, 2026: Enrollment acceptances sent via email, waitlist notifications sent to all other families
• January 26, 2026: Enrollment confirmations due by 5pm 
• February 20, 2026 by 6pm: Q2 report cards due for all accepted students
• March 2, 2026: Notices sent to accepted families who are no longer eligible, if applicable, and acceptances sent to additional families, if applicable
