Current Status

The following actions and policies are in place until further notice. All updates will be posted to this site.

  The UofM Campus is OPEN.

  • Read the COVID-19 Health and Safety University Policy >
  • Classes started August 17 with most classes being delivered virtually/remotely.
  • We look forward to continuing to increase the density on our campus on Monday, October 5, with the voluntary return of some additional face-to-face classes. Courses previously approved for voluntary return will begin meeting next week. Read the full message >

  • Most campus buildings have restricted access. You must have your University ID to enter. Learn more >

Fall 2020 Academic Calendar Adjustments

  • All classes began Monday, August 17, and end Tuesday, November 24.
  •  We will not be taking a fall break this semester, but will observe the Labor Day holiday.


  • All campus events with 10 or more people are canceled, postponed or being held virtually.
  • Visit gotigersgo.com for updates regarding athletic events.
  • All University-sponsored travel, domestic and international, is currently suspended.
