BFA Art Exhibition at UofM Showcases Student Talent

November 6, 2015
- The Martha and Robert Fogelman Galleries of Contemporary Art will present FOOD, a BFA thesis exhibition featuring works by nine graduating seniors of the University of Memphis Department of Art. The exhibition will run from Nov. 13-20, and includes the works of Brooke Smith, Adam Clark, Malory Marlin, Anna Irace, Terrell Harmon, Alli Lemon, Thomas Sully Allen, Anna Maranise and Zachary Morgan.

The young artists' works range from ceramics, painting and sculpture to collage and bookmaking. The exhibit represents a culmination of their individual explorations and experiences - navigating issues concerning relationships, the media, semiotics, nature and the unnatural.

An opening reception will be held Friday, Nov. 13, from 5 to 8 p.m. The galleries are located in rooms 230 and 240 of the Art and Communication Building, 3715 Central Ave.
