U.S. News & World Report Ranks Five UofM Online Programs Among Best Nationally

January 17, 2019 - Five UofM Global programs are ranked nationally by U.S. News & World Report, including Online Nursing (graduate), No. 17; Online Criminal Justice (graduate), No. 43; Online Bachelor's Program, No. 58; Online MBA, No. 70; and Online Education (graduate), No. 139. The publication ranks eight online programs annually.

"UofM Global has increased visibility, led to growth and has provided a strategic vehicle to share the great work being done on our campus with a national audience," said University of Memphis President M. David Rudd. "Our programs' rankings improved significantly over the past year. The most noteworthy improvement was in our online bachelor's degree ranking, moving from 125 to 58 – and only one point from being in the top 50. All of our programs improved, reflecting the exceptional teamwork and impressive expertise of our faculty and staff."

"Achieving this level of quality during a period of dramatic growth is fundamental to the UofM Global mission," added Dr. Richard Irwin, executive dean for UofM Global & Academic Innovation. "We're delighted to share this news with our 3,000 students, from 39 states, who are pursuing their studies fully online this year."
