Biography

Dr. Yajiong (Lucky) Xue is a Professor of Management Information Systems at the Fogelman College of Business and Economics, University of Memphis. Her research interests span IT and neuroscience, healthcare informatics, IT governance and strategy, enterprise systems, IT security, outsourcing, compliance, adoption, and knowledge management. Dr. Xue’s work has been published in leading journals such as MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, MIT Sloan Management Review, Communications of the ACM, Decision Support Systems, Information Systems Journal, and the Journal of Strategic Information Systems, among others.

Her research has been supported by university grants, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies, and her publications have been cited more than 18,000 times according to Google Scholar. Since 2009, she has served as an Associate Editor for the Communications of the Association for Information Systems (CAIS).

Dr. Xue has taught a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses, including Data Mining, Enterprise Infrastructure, Telecommunications and Networking, Security Management, MIS Projects, Business Computer Applications, and Introduction to MIS.
