Midshipman Commanding Officer

Midshipman 1/C Dylan J. Haas

MIDN Dylan Haas, our Company Commander, is from Dayton, Ohio and is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology. Raised and molded by a family of those who’ve sworn to protect and serve, MIDN Haas has always known that he was going to walk the same path. Spending four years in a Naval program before college, striving to be something bigger than himself, and having a deep desire to fly, influenced his choice to join the United States Navy. He hopes to become a Naval Aviator, strengthen his leadership capability, and be a mentor to many.

Midshipman Executive Officer

Midshipman 1/C Austin J. Parks

MIDN Austin Parks, our Company Executive Officer, is from Memphis, Tennessee and is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematical Sciences, driven by a passion for problem-solving and analytical thinking. Following in the footsteps of his father, a Naval Aviator, and honoring the legacy of his grandfather and uncle who also served, MIDN Parks made the decision to join the Memphis Naval ROTC program.

Midshipman Operations Officer

Midshipman 1/C Issac D. Perriguey

 MIDN Isaac Perriguey, our Company Operations Officer, is from Memphis, Tennessee, and is pursuing dual Bachelor’s Degrees in both Chemistry and Biology. MIDN Perriguey was inspired to join the Navy by his great uncle, who enlisted and honorably served aboard submarines for 20 years. He decided to join the University of Memphis NROTC because it allowed him to stay near his family while pursuing his education and a commission into the United States Navy. The NROTC program has enabled him to travel all around the US through trainings like CORTRAMID and special programs like Project GO and the DTRA Research Internship.

Midshipman Logistics Officer

Midshipman 1/C Richard J. Sawyer

MIDN Richard Sawyer, our Company Logistics Officer, is from Madison, Wisconsin, and is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. MIDN Sawyer has always wanted to become a United States Marine and hopes to become a Combat Engineer Officer after commissioning and completing The Basic School.

Midshipman Senior Chief

Midshipman 1/C Haley N. McNab

MIDN Haley McNab, our Company Senior Chief, is from Arlington, Tennessee and is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematical Sciences. In her role as the Company Senior Chief, she manages the most collateral billets within the unit. Her leadership is marked by a strong work ethic, accountability, and a commitment to excellence in all areas of responsibility.

Haley is on a focused path to become a Naval Aviator, specifically aiming to pilot MH-60 helicopters. She has already distinguished herself in pursuit of this goal by earning straight 9s on the Aviation Selection Test Battery (ASTB).

Her motivation to serve is deeply personal. Inspired by her mother’s 22 years of honorable service in the United States Navy, Haley carries that legacy forward with pride and determination. She believes that true leadership means stepping up for others and setting the standard through integrity, humility, and action. For her, wearing the uniform is not just about a career, it’s about continuing a tradition of service and making an impact beyond herself.

Midshipman Chief

Midshipman 1/C Henry A. May

MIDN Henry May, our Company Chief,  is from Maumelle, Arkansas, and is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business IT. MIDN May joined the University of Memphis NROTC program because he wants to be a Navy SEAL Officer, and it’s the closest program to home. He chose the Navy to push himself, serve with tenacity, and earn his place among the best.
