Graduate Testimonials
The MNM program prepared me for my current role by allowing me to think of leadership in terms of relationship and team building, not just giving directions and orders. Leadership is about developing others and giving them the tools they need in order to succeed for the benefit of an organization.Laura Daniels, 2025 MNM Graduate - Director of Development Operations, Ducks Unlimited
When I began my MPA coursework, I had no idea the trajectory of my career but I knew I wanted to prepare to lead in the public sector. As I navigate the field, I constantly realize that my degree is the gift that keeps giving. My approach to the work is shaped by the code of ethics taught & refined by this program. So grateful!Whitney R. Smith-Dunning, 2025 MPA Graduate - Board Administrator, The Cotton Board USDA Research & Promotion Program
My MPA was instrumental in guiding my journey of understanding of how to give back to the community. My MPA was the foundation of what is now known as the "The Science of Where." I must acknowledge Dr. David Cox for mentoring me in the genesis of my quest to excel in writing and publishing! Thanks Dr. David Cox!Waletha Wasson, 1988 MPA Graduate - Program Director: A 21st Century Initiative - Oral-Systemic and Population-Based Health for All, UTHSC
