About Jamecia Richardson

Jamecia Richardson is an energetic public health professional committed to serving underserved communities and program implementation. Her mission is to make a long-lasting impact on students and optimize their college experience through collaborative efforts with community partnerships. She has a demonstrated record of revamping and improving programs while minimizing health and social inequalities. She desires to create a warm and inclusive environment for all students. Jamecia is from Clarksville, TN, where her parents proudly served in the United States Army. Jamecia has one sister and enjoys spending time with her family every chance she gets. 

Jamecia was the first student to graduate with a Bachelor of Health Science in Population Health from Baptist Health Sciences University. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Memphis. Jamecia is an MPH student at The University of Memphis and expects to graduate in the summer of 2024. 

Currently, Jamecia serves as our Coordinator of Experiential Learning and Career Services. She is excited and eager to put her skills to work and make meaningful connections to enhance the School of Public Health’s outreach in the Memphis community.
