About Jamecia Richardson, MPH

Jamecia Richardson is a public health professional committed to advancing health equity, student success and community-engaged programming. Her work is rooted in a deep commitment to serving underserved populations and creating inclusive, supportive environments that help students thrive academically and professionally.

Originally from Clarksville, Tennessee, Jamecia was raised in a military family, an experience that shaped her values around service, adaptability and collaboration. These principles continue to inform her approach to public health practice, leadership and partnership building.

Jamecia holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Memphis, a Bachelor of Health Science in Population Health from Baptist Health Sciences University, where she was the program’s first graduate, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Memphis.

She currently serves as the Coordinator of Experiential Learning and Career Services for the University of Memphis School of Public Health, where she leads initiatives that strengthen workforce readiness, expand community partnerships and enhance professional development opportunities for public health students.
