The MHA/MBA program prepares students for leadership roles in healthcare organizations through the integration of advanced management and business skills in healthcare services and clinical settings. This dual degree addresses the emerging need for healthcare executives to manage healthcare systems in a complex and competitive financial, operational and regulatory landscape. The innovative "Day One" program, includes team development activities and seminars that build core professional attributes. Students can also enhance their skills with the Health Systems Leadership graduate certificate.

Professionals who seek to integrate healthcare management and business acumen to navigate complex healthcare environments Those with backgrounds in healthcare administration, clinical practice, business management, or related fields who seek to enhance their skills and lead healthcare organizations. It can completed in a full-time schedule of 24 months or a part-time schedule for more flexibility. Residential MHA students complete the MHA courses on campus. Executive MHA students (with minimum five years professional experience) complete the MHA courses entirely online. MBA courses are offered only online.

  • It is a full graduate member of the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA) and belongs to ACHE's Higher Education Network (HEN). 
  • The program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME).
Students expand their knowledge and skills on healthcare policy, financial management, healthcare operations, and organizational leadership, and business approaches in marketing, strategic planning, and management. They also gain skills in decision-making, data analysis, and problem-solving, essential for addressing the evolving healthcare environment.

How to apply

Requirements:

  • Applicants must apply separately to the MHA and MBA programs and be accepted to both independently. 
  • Undergraduate degree with a GPA of 3.0+ 
  • Curriculum Vitae/Resume 
  • If Executive MHA, five (5) years of relevant healthcare management or clinical experience 
  • Statement of Purpose (MHA) / Personal Statement (MBA) 
  • Response to Essay Questions (MBA) 
  • Two (2) letters of recommendation  
  • Credentials evaluation for foreign transcripts 
  • Language proficiency test if language of instruction was not English
