Students will learn enhanced concepts of epidemiological and biostatistical methods and programming tools to analyze public health data. 

The graduate certificate prepares students to recognize and evaluate public health data and perform data analyses using appropriate biostatistical methods.  

A wide range of career fairs, strategically curated professional events, one-on-one coaching to explore public health through different lenses, foster your connections and build your lifelong networks and skills. 
Graduates of the program are employed as data analysts using advanced biostatistical analytical techniques and tools. Credits earned in this certificate may also be applied toward a graduate degree, offering a pathway for continued academic and professional advancement.

How to apply

Requirements:

  • Completed SOPHAS application
  • Undergraduate degree with minimum GPA of 3.0 and algebra and a basic mathematical background 
  • Curriculum Vitae/Resume 
  • Statement of Purpose (400-500 words) 
  • Credentials evaluation for foreign transcripts 
  • Language proficiency test if language of instruction was not English
