"You don't know me, but you've been inside me, and that's why we're here today."
Meet Jane. Jane went to a frat party. Jane got drunk. Jane was sexually assaulted. Jane is not her real name. Based on a now infamous sexual assault trial on a university campus in America, Shaming Jane Doe blends reality and fiction, exploring the complex and ingrained legal, cultural, and institutional practices that have created and fed an epidemic of sexual assault on college campuses.

CONTENT WARNING:
SHAMING JANE DOE IS A PLAY ABOUT SEXUAL ASSAULT. WHILE THERE ARE NO LITERAL ASSAULTS ON-STAGE, THERE ARE DISCUSSIONS, DETAILS, AND METAPHORS THAT SOME AUDIENCES MIGHT FIND DISTURBING. IN CONFRONTING FALSE BELIEFS AND MYTHS ABOUT RAPE, THE PRODUCTION DELVES INTO NUMEROUS AND POTENTIALLY UPSETTING TOPICS THROUGH MODES OF COMEDY AND SATIRE. THIS IS A CRITIQUE OF THE PEOPLE IN POWER. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
