High School Day of Dance

Calling all high school juniors & seniors: On Friday, October 24, join the University of Memphis Dance Department for our annual High School Day of Dance! Experience a day in the life of a BFA Dance or Dance Science Major by taking classes from dance faculty, connecting with current students, and observing work created by undergraduate students. This is a great time to learn about the programs we offer, express interest, and ask questions! Each high school student will also receive one complimentary ticket to our fall dance concert, Home, which will take place on October 24 & 25. Please submit this form to reserve your spot.

Schedule: 9:00 - 9:15 Welcome! 9:15 - 10:15 Somatics 10:20 - 11:15 Contemporary   11:15 - 12:15 Lunch and Composition Showing **Students are to bring their own lunch.**   12:15 - 1:15 Ballet 1:15 - 2:15 Jazz/Musical Theatre 2:15 - 3:00 Improvisation & Closing   All events will take place in the Communication and Fine Arts Building, Studio 124.
