We've recently streamlined the M50 development process to prioritize scheduling. Follow these steps for new M50 courses:
- Complete the required course proposal form. This form requests essential information about the course and kicks off the development process. The best person to complete the course proposal form is the person who will be developing the course.
- Meet with an Instructional Designer. Once the proposal has been submitted, you'll meet with an instructional designer to discuss course development plans.
- Schedule the course. Scheduling a M50 course for the first time requires your department scheduler to complete a M50 Course Schedule Request ticket. This ticket is only needed the first time a course is scheduled as a M50.
- Enhance your Canvas and pedagogy skills with training and one-on-one help from your instructional designer.
- Teach your new M50 course! Your instructional designer continues to support you.
- At the end of the term, your instructional designer reviews the course and works with you to determine improvements.
