About Prof. Joyner
Patty Joyner has been an Assistant Professor of Teaching in Spanish at the University of Memphis since 2017. She teaches both online and face-to-face courses in the Basic Spanish Language Program. She is part of the Spanish online development team of the World Languages and Literatures Department, and she also assisted the SPAN 2020 team in the redesigning of the 2020 course. Patty enjoys studying Spanish syntax and grammar, and she hopes to someday advance her rudimentary knowledge of Japanese.
