New Zero Trust Cybersecurity Course

The Center for Information Assurance (CfIA), a member of the National Cybersecurity Preparedness Consortium (NCPC), is offering a new web-based course on Zero Trust: Identity and Access Management. The course is available at TEEX.org.
This course introduces the Zero Trust methodology and equips learners with the knowledge to help organizations strengthen defenses against current and emerging cybersecurity threats. Topics include:
- The shift from perimeter-based security to Zero Trust
- Core principles and basic tenets of a Zero Trust reference architecture
- Foundations, logical components, and key benefits of Zero Trust
- Identity and access management strategies
- Zero Trust implementation practices
There are no prerequisites, making the course accessible to a wide audience. By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the goals, principles, and tenets of Zero Trust architecture
- Identify the logical components and benefits of Zero Trust, including the CISA Zero Trust maturity model
- Recognize key aspects of successful Zero Trust implementation
