Biography
Dr. Cook joined the Computer Science Department in Fall 2019. Prior to joining, she completed her PhD in Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University.
Dr. Cook's research focuses on understanding how students interact, and how technology can impact student learning. Her work includes projects on building systems for improving peer feedback, implementing pedagogical strategies for improving group work, and designing games. She often conducts studies in computer science and game design classes.
At the University of Memphis, Dr. Cook teaches courses on Human Computer Interaction.
