
Biography
Kyle Stockdall is a PhD candidate in the Management Department of the Fogelman College of Business and Economics. His research focuses on entrepreneurship, including entrepreneurial cognition and well-being, as well as family firms. Kyle’s research has been published in the Journal of Business Research and Journal of Small Business Management. His research has also been presented at academic conferences including the Theories of Family Enterprise conference, the Family Enterprise Research Conference, the Western Academy of Management, the Southern Management Association, and the Academy of Management conference. He currently teaches Introduction to Entrepreneurship. Kyle is also actively engaged with the Crews Center for Entrepreneurship, leading and facilitating sessions for grant-funded accelerator programs and supporting the integration of classroom and Center programming. Prior to entering the doctoral program, Kyle received a Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University. After graduating, he worked in a variety of fields including hospitality, mortgage lending, and higher education. Since 2019 Kyle has graded courses in Ohio University’s Master of Business Administration program including Strategy, Accounting, Leadership, and Business Ethics.
