Dr. Tauhidul Tanin is an Assistant Professor of Teaching in Finance at the University of Memphis, with an active research agenda, and a former Professor of Finance at the EGADE Business School, Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico. He earned a PhD in Finance from the Monash Business School, Monash University, Australia, and brings over 12 years of academic and industry experience, including roles as a Research Analyst and General Manager of Finance & Business Operations.

Dr. Tanin has published 16 research articles in leading journals (ABDC: 6 A*, 4 A, 2 B), including Energy Economics, Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, The British Accounting Review, International Review of Financial Analysis, Finance Research Letters, International Review of Economics & Finance, Research in International Business and Finance, and Journal of Cleaner Production. Additional work is under revision, resubmission, or review in premier FT50 and UTD24 journals.

He has taught Corporate Finance I and II, Management of Financial Institutions, Personal Finance, Analytical Foundations for Finance, Analytical Foundations for Business, Introduction to Finance, and Probability & Statistics to BBA, MSc, MBA, and PhD students from over 30 countries in hybrid, online, and in-person formats. Recognized for student-centered teaching, he earned evaluations of 9.83/10 in PhD Corporate Finance and 8.61/10 in the EGADE-UNC Charlotte MBA course.

Dr. Tanin serves on the editorial board of the American Business Review, reviews for 16 top journals (e.g., Research Policy), and mentors scholars at multiple career stages. His honors include High Distinction marks across his PhD, MSc, MBA, and BBA, seven merit-based awards and scholarships (e.g., Monash Research Merit Scholarship and INCEIF University President's Scholarship), and nominations for Monash's Mollie Holman Award and Vice-Chancellor's Commendation for Thesis Excellence.
