A hundred years down the road, you'll still remember Frosh Camp.
Your first year at college is so close, we can practically hear "whee!" screaming through your brain. It's a good thing to be so excited. And have we got an event for you that makes all this even better. It's called Frosh Camp. As the name clearly implies, it's just for incoming Freshman. Milk it. You're only a newbie once.
Let us tell you about this once-in-a-lifetime experience
Before you start rolling your eyes about something being "once in a lifetime," let us explain. After this four-day camp is over, you'll completely have an upper hand on your first year at college — something you'll be grateful for once classes kick in. We teach you what to expect inside and outside of class, introduce you to gobs of UofM offerings (your head will spin) and a heaping dose of Tiger spirit. Plus you'll make connections with upperclass peeps and 250 fellow freshmen. If you don't come, you'll kick yourself. Trust us on that one.
wait, there's more
In four short days and nights, you will meet people that will radically shape your college years — classmates and counselors who will be there for you during the ups, downs and pressures of college. You'll be ready to go to your first football game knowing the Tiger Fight Song. And overall, in general, just be as prepared as possible to have an unbelievable time at the UofM.
When is it?
We offer three camp sessions:
Session I: June 15 - June 18
Session II: July 13 - July 16
Session III: August 3 - August 6
Remember spaces are limited and fill up quickly, so don't wait!
Where is it?
Frosh Camp does not take place on campus, but out in the wilderness at Camp NaCoMe. The NaCoMe Conference Center is located between Pleasantville and Centerville in Tennessee. Please view our directions webpage for more information.
What does it cost?
The total expense to attend camp is just $85.00. Heck, that's just $21.25 per day. For something you will never forget. Campers receive transportation to and from camp, lodging, delicious meals, all programming materials, social activities, and, of course, a t-shirt.
