Paper Airplane Design and Flight Rules

2026 Competition Description

Students will put their skills to the test in a childhood pastime as old as fight. Teams will build their own paper airplanes and showcase their knowledge of aerodynamics while trying to win one of two categories: longest distance flown and cloest to a target. 

Competition Rules

• Students must design, build and test their own paper airplanes. 
• Students will be allowed to tweak their designs after each flight to see how changes affect performance.
