Herff College of Engineering announces leadership changes in graduate studies

The Herff College of Engineering Graduate Programs Office extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Kevin Berisso, Associate Professor of Engineering Technology, for his dedicated service as the College’s Director of Graduate Studies and Graduate Coordinator for Engineering Technology.

We are pleased to announce the following leadership appointments:

Dr. Sabya Mishra, Professor of Civil Engineering, Graduate Coordinator, and Director of the Center for Transportation Innovations in Education and Research (C‑TIER), has been named the College’s new Director of Graduate Studies.

Mr. Rajesh Balasubramanian, Assistant Professor of Engineering Technology, will serve as the new Graduate Coordinator for Engineering Technology.

As we advance the goals of the 2024–2029 Strategic Plan, the leadership of our Director of Graduate Studies and graduate coordinators will continue to strengthen faculty engagement and collaboration across the College as we work toward our shared vision for excellence.

We also extend our gratitude to our graduate coordinators—

Dr. John Williams, Dr. Sabya Mishra, Dr. Mohammed Yeasin, Dr. Daniel Foti, and Mr. Rajesh Balasubramanian—for their meaningful contributions. Their service provides essential insight and guidance to Dr. Brian Waldron, Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies, and Kirbi Robinson, Assistant Dean of Engineering Graduate Studies.
