The University of Memphis has 11 academic programs ranked nationally by U.S. News & World Report in its 2021 Best Graduate Schools, including two in the Top 50: Audiology (No. 20) and Speech-Language Pathology (No. 31).

All music performances, events and festivals at the University of Memphis will be canceled through the end of the spring semester. Sarah Brown, associate professor in Theater & Dance, has been awarded a prestigious Fulbright Scholarship to Romania where she will teach performance and direct acting students in a series of solo shows for NATO.
