Sample Request Policy 

The Mississippi Embayment Research Center (MERC) is committed to preserving sample records, data, and publications to ensure long-term access for the research community. As a potential NSF-funded facility, the MERC follows NSF Sample and Data Policies, providing samples to qualified investigators upon submission of a well-documented request. The MERC ensures fair and equitable sample distribution to support scientific research, limited quantities may also be available for educational, museum, and outreach purposes.
