Christopher Myers - Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management

Professor Myers has extensive marketing, strategy, brand management, product development,
digital marketing and consulting experiences with FedEx, ABB, Hilton, McDonald's,
several smaller companies and a non-profit. He has taught marketing at the University
of Memphis since 1995, 90+ classes, 2,000+ students, both in person and online. He
also has published 14 books including 5 academic books on brand and global marketing.
Mr. Myers is also a passionate special needs advocate, having raised hundreds of thousands
of dollars, conducted brand research and created technologies to help families find
resources and support.
Numerous awards in corporate marketing roles for innovation, creativity, leadership
and results; Adjunct Marketing Professor of the Year at the U of Memphis; many other
community awards.
5 academic books on brand and global marketing - Brand Marketing (multiple editions);
International Marketing: Winning in the New Global Economy (3 editions). I have published
9 other titles, fiction and non-fiction, with a new one on the way in December 2025
called The Octagon (will be published on Amazon).
