Why This Minor?
The Public Minor prepares you to work in local, state, and federal government — and it's open to students in any major at the University of Memphis. Through courses in American government, civic engagement, and urban administration, you'll build practical skills in policy, budgeting, and public-sectorleadership that complement whatever you're already studying.
Requirements
Students must complete 18 total hours: 12 hours of required core coursework, plus 6 hours of guided electives.
