About the Program
The MHA/MBA program prepares students for leadership roles in healthcare organizations through the integration of advanced management and business skills with specialized knowledge of healthcare organizations. This dual degree addresses the emerging need for healthcare executives to manage healthcare systems in a complex and competitive landscape.
Students expand their knowledge and skills on healthcare policy, financial management, healthcare operations, and organizational leadership, and business approaches in marketing, strategic planning, and management. They also gain skills in decision-making, data analysis, and problem-solving, essential for addressing the evolving healthcare environment.

Admission Information
For MHA:
- Completed SOPHAS application
- An undergraduate degree from an accredited university with GPA of at least 3.0 preferred.
- Personal statement on career interests in healthcare administration. (< 500 words)
- CV/Resume
- Two (2) letters of recommendation
- International applicants

Deadlines
International applicants should plan to have their applications by May 15 for Fall Semester and October 15 for Spring Semester to ensure sufficient time to receive your Form I-20 and visa.

(a) Graduate students must maintain a minimum of a 3.0 GPA ("B"). Grades of "D" and "F" will not apply toward any graduate degree but will be computed in the GPA. No more than 7 hours of "C-," "C" or "C+" will be applied towards meeting degree requirements.
(b) SCMS 7110 Intro to Business Analytics must be taken before BA 7503 - Business Analytics for Managers
(c) MGMT 7160 Global Strategic Management is taken during your final semester.
