Mendel Space

In honor of Dr. Maurice I. Mendel who has served as Chair and Founding Dean of the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders for 28 years, we are raising funds to name the Dean's conference room in the new Community Health Building the Dean Maurice Mendel Conference Room. In order to name a room for Dr. Mendel, we need to raise approximately $25,000.

Dr. Mendel stepped down from his role as Dean this summer and has been instrumental in overseeing our move to the new Community Health Building, a project he has devoted many years bringing to reality. He poured every ounce of his being into the planning, fundraising, and completion of this amazing new facility, so naming a place within it - in honor of his passionate leadership - is such a fitting tribute.

CAMPAIGN COMPLETE: We raised $25,000 to name the Dean's conference room the Dean Maurice Mendel Conference Room.  We sincerely thank you for your support of our program!
