About Kathy Archie
Kathy is responsible for the planning, preparation and delivery of the University’s financial reporting activities to various constituents. She provides supervision and guidance for the University’s capital projects and associated debt, plant funds, fixed assets, cash management and treasury services. Additionally, she works closely with the Controller to provide appropriate and meaningful financial information and metrics to the UofM Board of Trustees. Kathy has more than 34 years of experience in the accounting profession, 17 of which have been in higher education, with eight in the Tennessee system. Prior to joining the UofM, she served as Director of Fiscal Operations for four years at Southwest Tennessee Community College. Kathy earned both her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Business Administration degrees from Mississippi Valley State University.
