Michael Chisamore, RA, NCARB, NCIDQ, LEED AP
Michael Chisamore, NCARB, NCIDQ, LEED AP is an Associate Professor and the Director of the Interior Architecture Program where he teaches both architecture and design at all scales. After finishing architecture degrees at the University at Buffalo (SUNY) and Virginia Tech, he worked on a wide range of projects as a designer and architect in upstate New York and west Tennessee. His research interests involve the intersection of experience, communication, memory and building systems. Architectural illustrations by Professor Chisamore and his students have been recognized and exhibited both nationally and internationally. He is also the Director of the Center for Sustainable Design housed within the Department of Architecture.
