Congratulations to the Fall 2023 Outstanding Biomedical Engineering Senior Design Teams!
Awards for Outstanding Senior Design Projects are selected by members of the BME Advisory based on how students addressed design challenge, prototype development, testing and validation of design, and overall quality of presentation.
The top three design teams for the Fall 2023 term are:
1st place: The Spinsters For their design of a touch spinning machine for the reliable manufacture of customizable scaffolds for creation of tissue engineered and regenerative medical devices. (click here for more info)

2nd place: Sonoguard For their design of a customized compression shirt with features to redistribute the weight of an ultrasound transducer cable and reduce repetitive stress injuries for sonographers. (click here for more info)
