Dear CCFA Colleagues,
There are now three opportunities to secure funding to support your research/creative activity.
First, we are pleased to announce a new internal funding opportunity: The Arts & Health Research Team (AhRT) Grant. The CCFA Research Committee welcomes teams of faculty in all units at the University of Memphis to apply. These grants, awarding up to $2,500 each, will support collaborative, team research projects that are a) interdisciplinary in scope and b) related to the mission of the Institute for Arts and Health. Applications will be due by November 10th. Full details can be found in the attached document.
Second, this academic year, the College of Communication and Fine Arts will be providing professional grant writing assistance to faculty members applying for large ($100k+) external grants on a competitive basis. Anyone who wishes to apply for this opportunity should please fill out this form as soon as possible, but no later than Friday, November 3rd.
Lastly, for the third consecutive semester, we are pleased to offer Graduate Research Funding awards. Students enrolled in a graduate program with a thesis/dissertation project are eligible to apply. Students may receive a maximum of $3,000 in funding for research related expenses. The deadline to apply is November 30th. See the attached document for information about these awards. Please pass this information along to students who may be interested.
Graduate students who are considering applying are encouraged to attend the Graduate Research Funding Information Session to learn more about these awards by hearing from past winners and their experiences.
