About

I am a first year Ph.D. student at the University of Memphis Department of Communication and Applied Heath Communication, the health and relational division which will offer me an interdisciplinary experience in the theory, practice, and research of health communication. My research will explore the intersection of mental health, communication, and culture, with a particular emphasis on how personal narratives can be harnessed to facilitate healing and resilience. I am committed to advancing the field of mental health communication by contributing knowledge that is both academically rigorous and practically applicable, with the goal of making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who are often overlooked or underserved by traditional healthcare systems.
