Raising the UofM profile through strategic marketing.

Our department coordinates the development of integrated marketing and communication strategies and programs to reach the University's target audiences. Our team specializes in the following areas:

  • Marketing - seeks to increase enrollment and raise the profiles of departments and offices across campus through advertising and outreach campaigns
  • Communication - tells the newsworthy stories of endeavors and research on campus through traditional and digital media at the local and national levels
  • Creative Services - ensures each department represents the University's brand standards by providing professional marketing materials for clients across campus
  • Photography and Videography - documents campus life to share the University's stories
  • Social Media - shares news, information and campus highlights through digital media platforms
  • The University of Memphis Magazine - publishes two print issues of the official magazine and one President's report annually
  • University Special Events - coordinates premiere University events and provides resources for events hosted by UofM departments

Our focus is primarily on the University's academic, administrative and service units. We work in concert with Athletics on projects and efforts affecting the entire University community and branding for Memphis Tigers sports.
