2018 Summer Camps

The Department will offer two week-long day camps for pre-college students this summer.

The Creative Game Design Camp is for high-school students (older middle school students with high-school level computing experience are also accepted) interested in learning video game design and programming.  This camp will run from June 4-8, from approximately 9 am-4 pm each day.  Participants will work in teams to create interactive graphic novels.  For details or to register, please visit https://goo.gl/QH8wMW.  Questions can be sent to Lyndsey Rush at ldrush@memphis.edu.

The Cyber Ambassadors Tech Camp for high-school students will introduce ethical hacking, software patching, and coding.  This camp will run from June 18-22, from approximately 9 am-2 pm each day.  The week will culminate in a short Capture the Flag competition.  For details or to register, please visit https://www.memphis.edu/cfia/projects/tech-camp.php.  Questions can be sent to um-CyberAmbassadors@memphis.edu.
