Fall 2025 Faculty Promotions and Awards

Several Computer Science faculty received promotions and awards to start the Fall 2025 semester.

• Prof. Amy Cook was awarded tenure and promoted to Associate Professor.
• Prof. Xiaolei Huang received a CAREER award from the National Science Foundation, as well as a UMRF Research Fellowship.  More information is available from the Division of Research and Innovation.
• Prof. Deepak Venugopal received a 2025-28 Dunavant Professorship from the College of Arts and Sciences.
• Prof. Lan Wang received a 2025-28 Faudree University Professorship.
