In October, the Herff College of Engineering will host its first eDay specifically designed for students in grades 3-8. Our annual February eDay will tailor to students in grades 9-12.

Interest and support for eDay grades 3-8 has been overwhelming. We're so grateful that so many teachers, students and partents are excited to take part in this full day of engineering fun and education on October 23, 2026.

Students will take part in competitions like the egg drop, penny boat, spaghetti structure, and artificial grasping hands. They'll also get a chance to participate in a dozen activities, such as the 3D keychain design studio, the LEGO shake-table challenge, and transportation jeopardy.

Learn more about those competitions here.

eDay provides a truly unique experience for students and October eDay aims to introduce our youngest minds to the wonders of engineering.

Once registration is full, we will not be able to accept any more registrations due to health and safety standards.

So, if you're interested in showing your students what engineering has to offer, don't wait. Register today!
