Biography

Before joining the Management Information Systems Department full-time, Ms. Avanti Pandit accrued more than 20 years of industry experience and taught at Boston University. She is a Project Management Professional PMP^®    in good standing and is also trained in Black Belt in Design for Six Sigma for software development.

Avanti began her association with the department balancing her responsibilities as a part-time instructor and the enrollment and retention coordinator, a role that helped market MIS's programs locally and internationally. Avanti also has accompanied and taught University of Memphis students in a Study Abroad experience in Estonia. She remains active in recruiting and outreach.
