Joel Roberts

Biography
Joel Roberts is the Music Librarian at the University of Memphis. He is an Assistant Professor in the University Libraries. He holds a BM in Studio Music and Jazz and a Master's in Information Sciences (MSIS) from the University of Tennessee. He also earned his MM and PhD in Musicology from the University of Memphis. He currently serves on the Career Development and Services Committee of the Music Library Association and on the editorial board of the Journal of Arts Entrepreneurship Education. He is actively interested in the music of the Southeastern United States, and he has presented at both national and regional conferences related to library science and musicology. He is also a regular member of the University's Collegium Musicum.
