Leila Schroeder serves as the Student Academic Coordinator for Graduate Programs at the Loewenberg College of Nursing, where she supports prospective and current graduate nursing students throughout their academic journey, from initial inquiry through program completion.
In this role, Leila advises prospective students on graduate program admission requirements, prerequisite coursework, application timelines, and enrollment processes. She works closely with prospective students, program faculty, and staff to provide clear guidance and ensure applicants are prepared for successful entry into the program. Leila also collaborates with marketing and communications teams to support recruitment initiatives and outreach efforts, including information sessions, campus recruitment events, and community presentations designed to connect with diverse student populations.
Leila manages the graduate nursing application process, helping guide applicants through each stage of admission and ensuring all requirements are met for clinical placement and registration. She coordinates closely with faculty and program leadership to facilitate timely admissions decisions and maintain a smooth and efficient admissions experience.
In addition, Leila advises graduate nursing students throughout their programs, assisting with course planning, registration, and academic progression to support successful program completion. She also plays a key role in onboarding new students by coordinating first-semester orientation and facilitating student experience assessments to continuously improve the graduate student journey.
Through her work, Leila is committed to creating a supportive and welcoming academic environment while helping prepare the next generation of advanced practice nurses and healthcare leaders.
