Research Study on Hearing and Language Development in Children
The PARL is conducting a study on speech processing abilities in deaf and hard-of-hearing infants and children aged 1 month to 10 years old. Research Study on Hearing and Language Abilities in Children
The Pediatric Auditory Research Laboratory is conducting a study on the effects of environmental noise exposure on the development of hearing and language abilities in young children aged 1 to 6 years old. Your child may participate in this study whether they do or do not have hearing loss. To participate, there are three different testing sessions that take place over the span of a few months, and each individual session will last less than about one hour. Research Study on Auditory Processing in Noise in Young Adults
The PARL is conducting a study on auditory processing abilities in noise in normally hearing adults aged 18 to 26 years old. By participating in this study, you will be able to assist in developing a tool that will help infants and children who have hearing loss. There will be one testing session that lasts for less than two hours. You must not have hearing loss in order to participate in this study. For more information, click the link to the flyer below.
