About Ron Brooks

Ron Brooks served the UofM as Associate Director of Physical Plant and Director of Engineering and Crafts from 1995 to 2008. Ron has more than 20 years of facilities management experience. A professional engineer, Ron holds both Master and Bachelor of Science degrees in Civil Engineering. He is a member of the Association of Higher Education Facilities Officers (APPA), the Southeastern Regional Association of Physical Plant Administrators (SRAPPA), and the Tennessee Association of Physical Plant Administrators (TNAPPA) where he has held leadership roles in all three associations. Throughout his career, Ron has been awarded the Community Service Award, the Million Dollar Club Award and the Business & Finance Teamwork Award by previous employers.
