University of Memphis School of Public Health Launches New Center for Responsible AI in Public Health

March 27, 2025 - The University of Memphis School of Public Health established the Center for Responsible AI in Public Health (CRAIPH) to serve as a research and training infrastructure to promote the responsible and transparent use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in public health through support of applied AI research, educational programs, and collaborations that improve healthcare delivery, community well-being, and health outcomes.

The Center promotes interdisciplinary collaboration across public health, data science, engineering, business, humanities and the social sciences, and offers ethical and policy guidance for AI governance in health contexts.
