Brad Parsons Joins SPH Inaugural Dean’s Healthcare Leadership Community Advisory Group
September 8, 2025 - Brad Parsons, FACHE, has joined the SPH Dean’s Healthcare Leadership Community Advisory Group, which brings together healthcare leaders whose expertise, experience, and leadership will help provide input about the essential skills, knowledge and competencies that students should possess through their current academic program offerings, particularly the Master of Health Administration (MHA) program, housed within the Division of Health Systems Management and Policy.
Brad Parsons is a healthcare leader with over 20 years of experience guiding hospitals across the Mid-South. Brad currently serves as Vice President of Market Operations for Baptist Memorial Health Care overseeing Baptist hospitals in Arkansas, West Tennessee, and Desoto, along with executive oversight for system service lines and surgery centers. Brad joined Baptist in 2008 and previously served as CEO of several Baptist hospitals including Baptist-Memphis (2020-2023), NEA Baptist (2012-2020), and Baptist-Union City (2010-2012) as well as serving as Associate Administrator at Baptist - Golden Triangle (2008-2010). Prior to joining Baptist, Brad was an Associate Vice President at Decatur General Hospital (2003-2008), in Decatur, AL.
Brad graduated with a Masters of Science in Healthcare Administration (MSHA) and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Alabama - Birmingham.
He’s passionate about driving operational excellence and building high-performing teams grounded in respect and continuous improvement. Brad has a proven track record in service line growth, strategic alignment, and advancing value-based care to improve health for the communities he serves.
