World Congress of Psychotherapy Panel: Health Diplomacy and Mental Health in the Global Era

Dean Ashish Joshi, PhD, MBBS, MPH will be a panelist at the 24th World Congress of Psychotherapy with the CUNY Plenary Panel. The panel is chaired by Ekaterina Sukhanova, PhD and Francesca McLaren, MPH, and composed of three additional panelists: Ayman El-Mohandes, MD, MPH, Victoria Ngo, PhD, Muhammad Sohail Ali, MD.

This panel presentation brings together eminent university deans, scholars and international organization presidents who are pioneers in their fields of mental health, social psychiatry, and public health. They will be addressing current mental health needs at a global scale and discussing innovative service delivery programs.

Educational Objective # 1 Learn about innovation in mental health achieved through international collaborations.
Educational Objective # 2 Understand how the fields of public health and mental health professions intersect to promote adequate delivery of services to those in need.
Educational Objective # 3 Understand how large organizations such as WHO, WPA, CUNY, and WFP could collaborate synergistically to promote advances in clinical care.

Their session will take place Thursday, June 4 at 5:15 PM ET at the United Nations Headquarters.
