Monday, 19 October 2026
Boxes for food donations will be placed in the School of Public Health (Student Hub) in Robison Hall, as well as in all 8 UofM Residence Halls, from Monday, November 2 - Tuesday, November 17.
The Public Health Student Association encourages students, faculty and staff to support our campus community by providing non-perishable, nutritious food for the Tiger Pantry.
Suggested food donations include the following:
- Soups and stews
- Grain breakfast
- Canned or dried beans
- Shelf-stable milk
- Canned vegetables
- Canned fish, meat
- Peanut (and other nut) butters
"As public health students, we recognize that access to nutritious food is an important part of overall health and well-being. This food drive is an opportunity for our campus community to come together, support fellow Tigers, and make a meaningful difference for students experiencing food insecurity. We encourage students, faculty, and staff to participate and contribute in any way they can!" - Sydney Ward, PHSA President
“Through this partnership, RHA is proud to help connect our residence hall communities with an opportunity to give back. We hope this initiative encourages students to support one another and reminds our campus that even small contributions can have a lasting impact!" - Residence Hall Association, Executive Board
The next time you plan your grocery shopping, kindly consider getting one or two additional items for the Tiger Food Pantry. The Public Health Student Association and the Residence Hall Association thank you!
