About

My name is Seun Oyindamola Akinduro. I am pursuing my Master of Public Health in the Generalist track at the University of Memphis, where I also earned my bachelor's degree in health studies. My journey into public health grew from my interest in healthcare leadership and helping people access the care they need. During my internship in a skilled nursing facility, I saw how support, resources, and coordination can shape a person’s care experience. That experience strengthened my desire to improve health within communities. To me, public health means making the opportunity to live a healthy life less dependent on where someone lives or what they can afford. I want to be a voice for public health, making health information approachable and advocating for healthier communities. Wherever I go, I want to carry public health with me; in the conversations I have, the decisions I make, and the people I serve.
