The diverse curriculums of Sport and Leisure Management (undergraduate) and Sport Commerce (graduate) develop students with the skills essential to enter careers in marketing, management, facility and event operations, and other administrative positions in a constantly evolving sport and leisure marketplace. With diverse experience and expertise, the sport management faculty focus on connecting academic knowledge with practical application to help students prepare for the sport and leisure industry. Students have the flexibility to take courses on campus or online while getting field experience through numerous opportunities in the Memphis area. Graduates have secured employment with teams, facilities, events, collegiate athletic departments, governing bodies, corporate sport marketing departments, sport marketing agencies, and community recreation organizations.
